Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to and use of the Hiroo recruiting platform (the "Service"), operated by Hiroo ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Hiroo helps companies screen résumés against job criteria, conduct automated screening calls with candidates, and schedule interviews — including, where a recruiter chooses to connect it, by reading their Google Calendar availability and creating interview events on their own calendar.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Company admins are responsible for the recruiters they add to their organization's account.

3. Candidate consent

Recruiters and company admins are responsible for obtaining any consent required by applicable law before collecting, processing, recording, or messaging a candidate through the Service, and for the accuracy of the job criteria and communications they configure.

4. Connected third-party services

If you connect a third-party account — such as Google Calendar — you authorize Hiroo to access it strictly as described in our Privacy Policy, and you remain subject to that provider's own terms of service. You may disconnect a third-party account at any time from Settings.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, to misrepresent a job opportunity, or to attempt to access data belonging to another organization on the platform.

6. Intellectual property

Hiroo and its original content, features and functionality remain the property of Hiroo. Data you or your candidates submit remains yours; we process it only to provide the Service.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". Hiroo's automated screening and scheduling are decision-support tools; final hiring decisions remain the responsibility of the hiring company. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hiroo is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for conduct that violates these Terms. You may stop using the Service, and disconnect any connected account, at any time.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
